Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 7 September 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy explains activities that are not permitted when using Payzuu's website, mobile applications, payment tools, and related services.
This policy forms part of the Payzuu Terms of Service and applies to all users of the Service.
2. Lawful use
You may use Payzuu only for lawful business or commercial activity. You are responsible for ensuring that your business, products, services, payment requests, and transactions comply with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Fraud and financial crime
You must not use Payzuu for fraud, scams, money laundering, terrorist financing, card testing, stolen payment credentials, unauthorised transactions, identity theft, or attempts to conceal the source, destination, ownership, or purpose of funds.
You must not create misleading payment requests, falsely describe the purpose of a transaction, impersonate another person or business, or knowingly assist another person in carrying out fraudulent or unlawful activity.
4. Prohibited goods and services
Payzuu must not be used to sell, promote, request payment for, or facilitate goods or services that are illegal in the jurisdiction where they are offered, supplied, purchased, or paid for.
This includes transactions involving illegal drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, unlawful weapons, illegal gambling, unlawful financial services, exploitative or abusive material, or other goods or services prohibited by applicable law.
5. Payment-provider restrictions
Some businesses, products, services, or transaction types may be prohibited or restricted by the third-party payment provider used to process a transaction, even where the activity itself is otherwise lawful.
You are responsible for complying with the applicable provider's terms, prohibited and restricted business rules, onboarding requirements, and compliance obligations.
Payzuu may restrict access to a payment feature where required by a payment provider or where the relevant provider does not support your business or transaction type.
6. Abuse of the Service
You must not attempt to disrupt, damage, overload, interfere with, or gain unauthorised access to Payzuu, its infrastructure, other accounts, or connected services.
You must not introduce malware, malicious code, automated attacks, scraping tools, vulnerability scanners, or other technologies intended to compromise or misuse the Service.
You must not bypass security controls, access restrictions, payment limits, technical safeguards, or other measures designed to protect Payzuu and its users.
7. Customer and payment information
You must only collect, store, or process customer information through Payzuu where you have a lawful reason to do so.
You must not upload or use personal information obtained unlawfully, send deceptive payment requests, misuse customer contact details, or use Payzuu to harass, threaten, or deceive another person.
8. Monitoring and enforcement
We may investigate activity where we reasonably suspect a breach of this policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, security requirements, or payment-provider rules.
Where reasonably necessary, we may restrict features, suspend an account, refuse or block use of the Service, or terminate access. Immediate action may be taken where there is suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security risk, or another serious compliance concern.
We may also cooperate with payment providers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other authorities where required or permitted by law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Payzuu, applicable law, security requirements, or payment-provider rules.
The effective date at the top of this page shows when the latest version took effect.
